Free Therapy!
Ok, let’s be real- life is stressful. In this day in age, we do too much, don’t have enough time, and often don’t take the necessary steps to reset our brains and disconnect from the BS. The good news is that there are so many ways to take advantage of the “free therapy” sessions that life has to offer. Can’t get out of your head? Try to expend some energy and find something that makes you think about exactly what you are doing at the time. For example, remove yourself from your home and/or work zone and get outside. Go for a hike or fast-paced walk, take up gardening, do some rad arts and crafts, go fishing, do yoga, meditate, go to the beach, read a book or magazine, do a a crazy workout, listen to a podcast, play a sport, listen to music, dance, run, hit a punching bag, whatever you need to do to take your mind off of whatever it’s on. Carve time out of your day and make yourself do something so you can be a better version of yourself afterwards!
